External Reports - Ofsted and SIAMS

Please see below the most recent Ofsted report when we were judged "Good".

The first page says:

Saint John's is a place where leaders encourage all to flourish. Pupils are happy. Relationships between staff and pupils are caring and nurturing. Pupils feel safe and well-looked after. Parents say they a re pleased that staff encourage pupils to blossom at this school.

Pupils find lessons exciting. They talk positively about and know the importance of their learning. Staff have high expectations of pupils behaviour. Pupils fulfil these expectations and behaving well is the norm.

This is a diverse school where pupils embrace difference.

Please do read the whole report which we are very proud of.  We have worked on the areas of development and feel we have completed these already. There is always work to do but the school is in a very pleasing place with pupils and staff flourishing.

Also below is our SIAMS report. These reports do not have a "word judgement" but I hope you would agree that it is an incredibly impressive report which catches the heart of Saint John's being a place "where we all flourish"!

The first page says:

The school vision fosters a harmonious and loving community. Pupils and adults flourish because their unique talents are nurtured and celebrated.
Leaders craft an aspirational and inclusive curriculum that inspires pupils to grow. Rich experiences prompt pupils to challenge themselves, develop new skills and explore their spirituality.

Pupils and adults deepen their understanding of the vision and values because of the exciting and meaningful reflections.

Strong bonds of friendship, love and wellbeing promote flourishing. Leaders maintain a culture that is enriched by collaborative partnerships and support where required.

Again, the whole report is testament to the amazing school community and all that we achieve together!

Please note: at the time of a school inspection and any time of the year, parents can give their views to Ofsted using the Parent View questionnaire at http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk.
