Welcome
As the head teacher at Saint John's Primary School, may I extend a warm welcome to you and your family.
Saint John’s is a Church of England Primary School close to Cheltenham town centre and is linked to St. Luke’s Church. Our aim at school is to provide a secure, happy environment ‘where children flourish’, working in partnership with parents and carers. Our Christian values are central to our school's vision.
Our website may give you a small taster of our school life but we hope that, if you are interested in becoming part of our school community, you will be in touch on the phone or come and visit.
We very much look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child.
Mrs Victoria Beevers
Head Teacher
I post photographs and videos regularly: please see the Community - Latest Photographs and Videos section of the website.
Information for families of children joining Reception in September 2023
Very soon, once Gloucestershire County Council have sent us a confirmed list, families will receive a letter from Saint John's CE Primary School which outlines the ways in which you and your child begins to be involved in Saint John's. We have attached this letter below so that you can see the different events that we offer families joining our Saint John's community. There is a great deal of information available in the Curriculum - EYFS section of the website, as well as the Class Pages - Reception section. Parents and carers will find this helpful as there is also guidance about preparing your child for school. Please be in touch if you have any questions.
Information for families who are interested in joining our school
Tours are available for anyone interested in joining Saint John's. You will have the chance to see round the school and meet members of the leadership team. Please phone the office on 01242 523786 to book a time.
There are lots of photographs and videos showing you the school in our Community pages. Your child will enjoy watching our children engage in many different activities! Please do have a look at the Curriculum and our class pages for the relevant year groups. Also, please see below our Saint John's Prospectus.
However, we think a visit is an even better way of finding out about us!
